Courtney and Aaron got married at The Glades Golf Club on the 11th November 2017. This laidback couple had a bridal party of 10 and they were all a fun bunch!
Aaron arrived at the ceremony half an hour early to greet the guests, and he wore a charcoal suit and vest with a colour floral tie and a white boutonniere. The groomsmen wore tan suit pants and charcoal vests, and all the boys wore matching brown leather shoes. Our photographer Pat was there to catch the final moments before the bride’s arrival and Aaron waiting at the altar.
Courtney and the girls got ready off site and when it was time to walk down the aisle, their beautiful little page boy and “flower fairy” lead the way! The page boy wore black pants and suspenders and a navy bow tie, and the flowergirl was dressed in a cute navy dress and fairy wings, and a blue “flower wand”! It was adorable and unique! The bridesmaids wore floor length navy dresses and baby’s breath bouquets, and Courtney herself wore an elegant straight wedding gown with lace detail and a V neckline. She had a lovely bouquet of white and blue flowers, and she had baby’s breath in her hair which was half down and in a beautiful braided crown at the back.
The ceremony was led by Ceremonies by Leisa and it was fun and untraditional! When it was time for the vows Courtney and Aaron couldn’t decide who should go first, so what better way than a good old game of “rock paper scissors” to make the decision? It was a very “Courtney and Aaron” moment!
After the ceremony and signing the paperwork, Pat took the bridal party around the stunning venue for photos! They got photos of the whole bridal party, the boys and girls separately, and some lovely photos of Aaron and Courtney on their own.
The reception room was set up beautifully, with a fairylight backdrop behind the massive bridal table, and a big dance floor that was just waiting for party time! Their cake was a stunning creation in white and blue decorated with frills or petals and an ornate topper that said “Aaron & Courtney”. The chairs had black sashes tied in bows, and their centrepieces were cosy lanterns with candles inside. They also had a huge C&A sign outside which was very popular for photos with the guests!
After Mr and Mrs Garland had been introduced, there were speeches, cake cut, dance-offs and quizes that were awarded with prizes, a special song by the maid of honour, a special speech by the page boy, Bridal Waltz, father/daughter dance (and a little bit of father/son-in-law dancing too!), and lots of parting way into the night!
It was a super fun day and we wish Aaron and Courtney all the best!
