When you’re turning 30, AND it’s your anniversary, it’s the perfect excuse to finally book in for that boudoir session you’ve been thinking about! Ms C came in with her favourite lingerie in black and cream, two-pieces, three pieces and bodysuits, a perfect mix. It all looked amazing on her; it’s so important that your lingerie fits well for photoshoots, and hers fit like a very sexy glove! For her hair and makeup, Melody Caitlin Make-Up Artist gave her a natural soft smokey eye and a bold red lip, and wavy curls for her hair. Ms C got an album collection from her session, and she chose a gorgeous luxury journal album in a textured blue-black leather finish, complete with a decadent leather string to tie it up like a secret diary!

It may never feel the “right” time to do a boudoir session; that’s your mental defense mechanism saying “eek, I’m not the perfect weight/age/shape to do a shoot like this!!” and it will come up with any excuse to freak you out. But guess what, stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something even though you don’t feel super confident at the time can actually help you gain that confidence that you’re lacking. Boudoir photography is a HUGE confidence boosting experience, and once you step out of your comfort zone and do it, you’ll be so glad you didn’t wait a minute longer!
