Jess + Kyle tied the knot on the beautiful beach at Noosa Hidden Grove on the 23rd February 2017. The couple got ready at the Maison Beachfront Resort in Noosa, but in different rooms at separate ends of the hotel.
Kyle was relatively relaxed when I arrived to take photos of him and the boys, and they were getting dressed in matching grey pants and vests with a navy blue jacket for Kyle, a white bow tie for the groom and navy ties and bow ties for the groomsmen. They also wore matching white Converse shoes!
Jess got ready with her bridesmaid, bridesman (Jess’ brother) and parents, and her mum and dad were so proud of their little girl! Jess wore an elegant slim A-line dress with detailed straps and bodice, an elbow length veil, and a big bouquet of fresh flowers in pastel pink, peach and orange. And of course she wore blinged up white Converse shoes! There were several instances where tears threatened to make their appearance, especially when her dad saw her for the first time in her gown!
At the ceremony, cold water was being given out as it was an extremely hot day, and the guests and the boys stood in the shade at the Hidden Grove until the big moment came closer. Down on the sand where the ceremony was beautifully set up, Kyle slowly made his way down to wait for the bride and the couple’s entourage to make their entrance. Jess walked down the aisle to meet Kyle with a massive smile on his face, and the ceremony was intimate and emotional. At the end when they walked back up the aisle, all their guests blew bubbles for them to walk through, and it was a lot of fun!
After the congratulations and the group photos, we went off for bridal party photos. We went to the iconic rocks first to get some lovely photos, then we got some on the beach, some in the woods just up from the beach, and some on the pathway walking back towards where the car was picking the bridal party up to take them to the reception.
The reception at the Noosa Boathouse was beautifully decorated and the afternoon sun was shining in through the big windows as the guests were seated. The happy couple made their entrance, food was served, and some very emotional speeches were made that acknowledged the recent passing of Jess’ grandfather. Then Jess and Kyle cut the gorgeous cake, which was decorated with fresh flowers in the same colours as the bouquets and a topper that said “Mr & Mrs”!
We wish the newlyweds all the best for their future together!
