Ann and Daniel got married at the beautiful rustic Minden Retreat on the 25th February 2017!
Dan got ready at the couple’s own home with his groomsman as well as his precious pooch Pluto. Dan wore tan pants, brown leather shoes, a white shirt and a burgundy jacket and a navy and deep red patterned bow tie. The groomsman wore the same sans jacket, and a plain deep red bow tie. Pluto wore a black bow tie!
Ann got ready at a hotel in Ipswich with her bridesmaid, bridesman and flowergirl, and once she got into her dress she started to get a little bit nervous! She wore a gorgeous strapless A-line gown in champagne with a deep sweetheart neckline and lots of lace detail on the bodice and down the skirt, and she had a bouquet of gorgeous fresh flowers in burgundy, white and pink. Her bridesmaid wore a floor length navy dress, the flowergirl wore a cute navy dress as well, and the bridesman wore navy pants, a white shirt and a navy bow tie.
Dan greeted their guests at the ceremony before taking his place at the end of the aisle. When Ann finally walked down, Dan had a big smile on his face and the moment couldn’t be any more lovely! The ceremony was sweet and laidback with an atmosphere that spoke of the couple’s personalities and the love they had for each other and their friends and family who were present.
After the ceremony we took the chance to explore some of the photo spots that the retreat had to offer, and we got lots of lovely photos of the bridal party as well as the newlywed couple on their own! We just caught the sunset in between the trees before we went back to the big wood hall where the reception was set up. The guests were playing lawn games outside, – horseshoe throwing, etc – and inside the photobooth was set up, and the caterers were preparing the delicious woodfire pizza dinner that was in store for the evening!
After the happy couple made their entrance, they mingled with their guests, there was food in plenty, photobooth fun, speeches, cake cut, and finally dancing!
