Carmen and Cam tied the knot at Riverlife in Kangaroo Point on the 1st October 2016!
Carmen and her bridesmaids got ready at the Quest River Park Central in Brisbane CBD, and Bella Brides Hair and Makeup made all the girls look flawless for Carmen’s big day! The bride wore a stunning A-line gown with lace straps and scallop detail on the bottom of the skirt, a floor length veil and a big bouquet of pink lilies and peonies. The bridesmaids wore floor length navy dresses and bouquets with pink lilies and baby’s breath. The boys wore navy suits and blue patterned ties, matching brown leather shoes, and Cam wore a bow tie to set him apart as the main man of the day.
Carmen and Cam did a First Look at the QUT Gardens Point campus, and Cam stood facing the river as Carmen came down the stairs to present herself in her wedding dress to her future husband for the first time! After an emotional moment for the two lovebirds, we took photos with the bridal party around the campus and the beautiful City Botanic Gardens.
The ceremony took place at the Kangaroo Point Parklands and was a very different and trendy ceremony. It was short and sweet, and had elements of surprise and a relaxed atmosphere that suited the couple. After the ceremony we did some more photos of the happy couple on the rocks of Kangaroo Point by the river with a lovely backdrop of the city!
The reception was set up in the City Lights Marquee at Riverlife and the guests were enjoying drinks, canapés and the use of the photobooth while waiting for the bridal party to make their entrance. Once Carmen and Cam were introduced to the reception as Mr and Mrs, there was mingling, live music, delicious food, speeches, games, cake and dancing far into the evening! Carmen had a close relationship with her dad and the pair had a lovely father-daughter dance before Carmen was handed over to the lucky groom for their first dance together as newlyweds.
We wish Carmen and Cam all the best for the future!
