Ms M – Exploring light and dark

Exploring Dark Moody Boudoir Photography in our New Gold Coast Studio

Ms M was my guinea pig for an experimental shoot in my brand new studio on the first week after it was finished and open for business! I wanted to see what my new space was capable of, and the first thing we were keen to test out was the fireplace. It’s the perfect time of year to cosy up in front of the heater, and we welcomed casual sexy attire for this look. An oversized knit and knee high socks are the perfect outfit for that winter bedroom look, and we added a nice hot cup of coffee to the mix for maximum comfort effect!

Next, we did a classic lingerie look in a port coloured Honey Birdette set, and we focused on the dark and moody for this look.

Then we pulled out the popular gem studded long sleeved bodysuit that so many clients love to wear for their sessions! We slowly started to move towards even darker and moodier sets and tried out some spicy reflection work.

Lastly, we fully surrendered to the dark side with a leather look bodysuit, black lips and an even darker style of photography where we blacked out as much natural light as possible and relied only on ambient and candle light, and directional neon.
