Ben + Elise tied the knot at the beautiful Pavillion at Gabbinbar Homestead on the 11th November 2016!
They both got ready on site, Ben in the Library and Elise in the Bride’s Retreat. Ben and his Best Man got dressed in white shirts, charcoal pants and jackets, burgundy ties, and Ben wore a vest to set him apart as the man of the hour. Elise’s two bridesmaids wore gorgeous dusty pink floor length dresses, while the bride herself wore a stunning A-line gown with lace detail on the bodice. They all carried lush bouquets of white and subtle pinks. Elise had a veil that she traditionally wore over her face for the procession down the aisle.
Ben shed a tear or two as his lovely bride came walking towards the altar, and the heartfelt ceremony was one filled with love and joy.
After the ceremony and group photos, the bridal party had photos on site, and what a beautiful backdrop it made! They went to the Old School House, the iconic Magnolia Tree, the Stables, the Woods, the Driveway and the Fields, and even though it was a cloudy day, nothing could dull the glow of this newlywed couple! You may remember the butterfly migration that took place in early November 2016, and some of these beautiful creatures graced Ben and Elise with their presence on the day just to make it extra special!
After entering the reception in the stunning Conservatory, the couple mingled with their guests, ate the delicious meals that were brought out by the friendly staff, and had some speeches. Ben and his friends smoked cigars for the special occasion, and then the couple cut the cake and had their first dance as husband and wife.
We wish Ben + Elise all the best for their future together!
